I smell like sage, blood and sweat right now, and there is no holding back. It wouldn’t leave my mind.

I’m not ashamed to write this.
I’ve been going to the max these past few weeks with work, travel, purpose, vision.
Letting go of my presentation skills. Showing up half a mess, and all along knowing this is my process. I have to show up this way so I get over myself. I am wringing out my curls and dolly days so that the woman who is ready to lead can emerge.
Part of me laughs at this, catching glances of myself on edges of reflective surfaces, seeing lines on my forehead and asterisks by my eyes, and the old me would give many shits, but this lady, she ain’t giving none.
This is the fire of the Enchantress into the Sage, premenstruation in menstruation, Waning into the New in the phases of being woman.
When you’ve poured your soul out into your creations over and over and over again to the world, wondering who hears you, and you’ve exhausted yourself with caring and then not caring and then caring again, this woman who is dancing in between blood and mysticism and almost sleeping graces you with surrender.
I’m not sure if these words make sense right now to you beloved readers, but they had to come out.
I pulled out my computer and Pages to let them birth.
That’s how badly they wanted to be here. And they wanted my undivided attention. They got it.
I now keep coming back to you leaders. You women leaders who are crafting from the ground up, unsure fully of your direction. I hear you and I have been you and I am still you.
Then I come to your cyclic nature, for this is where I always return. I have so many ways to guide you in this. Ah! So many.
P.S. I want to write a book. This reminded me of that. I’ve already started twice in life. Once in my early twenties and once in my mids.
