I just finished a coaching call with a magical client of mine, and this was her theme.
Under all of the situations she felt tied up in, this was her path out.
Leaning into her own joy no matter what the f*ck else is happening around her.
As a retired people pleaser and an active Highly Sensitive Person, I have served my time with the self-torturing dance of bending over backwards to put everything else first but my own intuitive joy.
Every time we do such, we scoot away from our version of truth….and it hurts.
Not to mention, it’s exhausting, confusing, depleting, anxiety-inducing and depressing.
So, in her session today, we pulled it back to tuning into her internal barometer.
We crafted rituals and tools for her to utilize the second she feels the joy factor diminish.
This isn’t to say it is all going to feel like gold, but it is to say that she won’t be feeling lost in the energies of others.
Here are some of my most prized tools for unlatching yourself from toxic energies and popping back into your joy power:
- Abraham Hicks on YouTube (just play it while you’re making breakfast, folding laundry, dressing or driving!) @abrahamhickspublications
- EFT with Brad Yates (The Emotional Freedom Technique…his YouTube channel is full of out of this world goodness!) @tapwithbrad
- Byron Katie’s worksheets which you can find on her website through her IG handle @byron.katie
- Consistent, daily movement. Nothing grounds me back in my own joy like exercise!
- Raw, majestic CACAO with a heavy adaptogenic dusting!
The key to these catapulting change is in your consistency with them.
It can’t just be something you try on for 5 minutes.
It’s about making your happiness a moment-to-moment priority.
I remember how awkward I felt when I first started implementing such.
Shifts in my outer world started to happen like wildfire.
It meant honoring my boundaries like I would care for my own newborn baby.
Not everyone liked it nor did they understand, but it brought on such an inside revolution that my devotion grew.
I could write more, but I’m out of space! So, I hope this supports you if you made it this far! Huge love!
